    Called here by God. Continually set God honoring goals. Protected personal and family life. Don’t have a personal answering machine. Encourage congregation to take their vacations. Take time away myself. Not afraid to have others fill the pulpit.

    If you call my number I pick up. But people know I’m not the one to call who knows the answers they are looking for and there are systems in place for them to speak to ministers/leaders 24 hours a day when there is an emergency.

    My ego doesn’t require that everything goes through me. It’s a Church, not a hierarchy.

    Generally the book keeper. There are several names on the list. The elected treasurer is one but that person virtually never signs. That person is responsible for overseeing the accounting and reporting of all financial matters of the church to the Official Church Board when they meet and then to the church, usually once a year at the annual meeting.
