Average church membership income after the 2018 tax reform
Comments 26
This is sad but realistic figure of what the so called tax reform has done to the churches in just one year Terry Wiles Ed Brewer Nelson Banuchi Jimmy Humphrey Joseph Kidwell
30%+ live at the level of poverty
51% are barely making it
81% is poorer than they were before 2016
An interesting topic on church expenditure today given the recent tax reform and the general robbing of the middle class that followed Link Hudson Jim Price
Link Hudson it was just related to me (so I am not quite certain) that after the 2018 tax reform many low income or many children families are asked to re-apply for health care under new regulations. The system includes circular logic where many if most are automatically sent letter of denial from any previous service they had and asked for more facts (they call it – not proof, document, etc., but facts) without being told what exactly is needed for future approval Happening in some southerns states GA, TN and just now SC too may be NC soon Nelson Banuchi Did evangelical supporters of Trump & Republicans forget that the enemy are not Democrats but Satan & his malevolent underlings? Jan Dixon Sykes
Troy Day ask an economist. 🙂 my PhD is in business administration. My research was on venture capital inernationalization. I used an international business theory.
well like I said above and in 2-3 other posts it is namely because of the business administration of this current administration churches and people with many children are being robbed from their legal blessings
Troy Day biblically, can you justify calling taxation or government policies ‘robbery’. Why the inflammatory rhwtoric against the powers that be? Is tgat how to be subject to them?
My taxes may be higher tgan they would have been otherwise. That is unfortunate but not robbery.
yes – Samuel told so to Israel before they got their first king – he literally said, the king SHALL TAKE from you…
but this is not the OP – I am talking about several tax measures from this administration that target the churches as well as church family especially ones with several kids
Troy Day ‘Take’ and ‘steal’ are not the same words. ‘Take’ and ‘rob’ are not the same either. Robbers take. So do tax departments of the various countries.
I have posted before how it is a steal and robbing
In the case of your short memory I do not mind at all re-posting again just for you all I had said to this if you want me to
Troy Day i am asking you that. Was Pahl wrong about Christians obligation to pay taxes? If we are, should we call it robbery when the powers that be-to whom we should be subject- collect taxes?

For some Republican evangelicals, it seems so…
well it started with migrant children we didnt say a thing
then we heard it from some Christian missionaries and baptist people who have lots of children by default and we were quite
now we are hearing it about low income children in the South and everyone seems to be OK
Who follows next after that? Jim Price Jan Dixon Sykes
Link Hudson this is your expertise right? Why are you not answering the questions or responding here at all ?
Troy Day i am not a tax expert.

Troy Day Paul says custom to whom custom is due.
Is it due or isn’t it? Was Paul wrong?
well it also says honor the emperor – should we honor and pay taxes to the Chinese emperor who persecutes the Chinese church? Nelson Banuchi
Troy Day the Chinese Christians had to. Nero was bad ro Christians.
So are we to interpret your quote differently based on context? Was Paul wrong?
Troy Day why would Paul be wrong? I do not get your point.
Kings rule over different regions. We do not live in China do we? I don’t.
you asked the question Was Paul wrong? above I dont have a clue why you would think Paul was wrong
Troy Day i am asking you that. Was Pahl wrong about Christians obligation to pay taxes? If we are, should we call it robbery when the powers that be-to whom we should be subject- collect taxes?
you tell us since you are the one asking this
Troy Day yes we should pay taxes. No we should not call tax collecting robbery.
xall? Hal Lindsey?
