TOP REASONS WHY PASTORS RESIST REST I love what I do I can’t get everything done I can’t stand sitting still I don’t have enough people helping I’m afraid things will fall apart Being a busy pastor was modeled to me
They wanna preach on the Sabbath Terry Wiles Tom Steele
Ok. We preach most every day of the week.
Because they allow their zeal for God to distract them from common sense and Scriptural mandates.
Shouldnt a soul be preached to and saved on the Sabbath? Jesus preached mostly on the Sabbath too
I’m not aware of a commandment against preaching and teaching the Scripture on Shabbat, just against working.
Why were you quick to judge them in your comment above?
You’re being confusing again…
1. What does preaching have to do with working on the Sabbath?
2. What does resisting rest have to do with preaching?
3. Not too many Christian Pastors hold services on the Sabbath, so none of them are likely preaching on the Sabbath anyway.
yes Tom Steele your comment is confusing. Maybe you read OP as why pastors resit arrest ?
Michael Ellis Carter Jr. Joe Absher the title should read resist a rest
Troy Day it’s just not enough time in the day
Michael Ellis Carter Jr. a good pastor always finds the time of the day to resist a rest
It may alright for a season but we neglect “the rest” at our own peril.
